Libya Travel Visa Service

Magic Carpet Travel will arrange Libyan visas for all our travellers and this is included in the tour price. The process is usually quite straightforward and you will not be required to send us your passport nor will you need to visit the Libyan Embassy. Your visa will be issued and stamped into your passport on arrival at Tripoli airport.

However, in order that your visa will be ready for you at the airport when you arrive, we do need to take some details from your passport and have these translated into Arabic beforehand. This will take a minimum of 14 days. Therefore, when you make your booking with us you will be asked to send us a scan or fax of the personal details pages of your passport. Before you travel to Libya, we will send you a letter with your LIbya Visa Authorisation Number proving that your visa is ready and will be issued upon arrival. You should present this letter to the airline when you check in.

When travelling to Libya, please make sure that your passport is valid for at least six months after your return date and that you have two empty pages ready for the Libyan visa stamp. Please note that you will not be allowed to enter Libya if you have an Israeli stamp in your passport.
